Chef Francois stood on the polished teakwood deck of the main VIP tasting pavilion, his face flushing a deep shade of crimson red, since his massive, fragile ego simply could not process the blatant disrespect Rick had just delivered in front of the flashing cameras.
The surrounding journalists and elite billionaires murmured among themselves, pointing their expensive smartphones toward the confrontation, as they eagerly waited to see how the veteran Michelin grandmaster would respond to a young upstart calling him a loudmouth.
Francois clenched his jaw, waving his hand to signal his lackeys, deciding that trading verbal insults with a junior was beneath his aristocratic status, since true culinary dominance was always proven through the sheer quality of a chef's foundation and equipment.
