Ka'z strode into the Chief's Court, a sizable open space within the building where the Chieftain lived and where matters concerning the village were discussed. Lan'ka sat upon a makeshift throne at the far end of the chamber, while Tong'a and O'nil flanked him on either side, seated upon smaller wooden stools. Lady Zira was present as well, though the noticeable bulge beneath her clothes made her pregnancy impossible to ignore.
She sat quietly, one hand resting over her stomach as she observed the gathering.
Kurg and Tu'ka were also present, but neither noticed Ka'z's arrival. Their attention remained fixed on the four Gnolls standing before them, several unfamiliar items carefully arranged upon a large mat at their feet.
