Chapter 188 - You and I, Brothers, Strike as One

An unspeakable silence suddenly descended upon the atmosphere here.

Owen had lost miserably; anyone could see it.

"Step back!" Bradley suddenly shouted in a low, displeased voice, his figure flashing as he raised a foot and kicked Owen flying back toward his own side.

His gaze fell upon Zoran, filled with deep vigilance.

"You won," Bradley said.

"Mm." Zoran smiled.

Bradley could not understand why the non-human entity before him so clearly exuded such a gentle aura, yet possessed power that was inexplicably deep and bizarre.

Zoran's current state was not the Nebula Body, nor could it really be considered armed. That Taoist robe of his looked no different from ordinary attire.

Yet, in this ordinary state, he had managed to rawly defeat Owen's Ultra Beast Force. Not to mention, Owen's Bat Ultra Beast had been crushed to raw pieces by Zoran's bare hands.

It was something Bradley had never heard of. He had truly seen something new today.

Disturbances rose from the Cloud Bat Legion behind him, soldiers stepping forward to exert pressure.

Bradley raised a hand, an expression of displeasure crossing his face: "Fall back, what are you doing? Do you intend to defy the fairness I spoke of!"

As their leader, his word was the sole command. The Cloud Bat Legion halted in their tracks behind him.

"Owen has lost," Bradley looked toward Zoran and Shendu. "As the masters of this place, you are qualified to challenge me, a duel between the strong," Bradley added.

Zoran smiled, his figure slowly retreating behind Shendu. "You can't let just one person hog all the spotlight."

He yielded the stage, leaving the performance to Shendu.

"I said long ago that I wanted to take on all of you alone, but it seems you've overestimated yourself a bit," Shendu looked toward Bradley. He had every right to say those words.

"Hmph, survive a fight against me first before talking big!" Bradley let out a cold snort, his purple figure flashing across the battlefield like elusive lightning.

He was famed for his speed, and his defensive power was equally peerless. Furthermore, this was his home turf; as the commanding general, he had no reason to lack confidence. Shendu was his opponent.

"Too slow," Shendu suddenly declared.

The divine power of the Rabbit Talisman ignited, and he vanished from the spot on the instant.

Bradley's purple figure flashed continuously, yet he was pursued by Shendu's emerald-green figure.

Every time they stopped, Shendu seemed to be a step faster, preemptively predicting his position and launching a calm, collected attack. A dazzling, high-speed chase unfolded before everyone's eyes.

Judging purely by color, Shendu seemed to completely outpace Bradley.

Famed equally for speed, even without considering Shendu's current ascension to the Nebula Body, he had previously been capable of traversing and reversing space-time with the miraculous speed of the Rabbit Talisman. This far transcended the concept of a mere speed advantage on the battlefield.

Bradley's movement trajectory was as clear as slow motion in his eyes. This was a total suppression of speed; Shendu almost perfectly predicted every single step Bradley took, even managing to stay more than just one step ahead, waiting for Bradley at his landing point, then leisurely throwing a punch.

Bradley's figure shifted from active offense to passive evasion. In the end, it completely turned into Shendu's one-sided beating.

He was struck down to the ground, then tossed back into the sky. Every single movement of his was entirely out of his control.

A moment later, covered in dust and panting, he caught his chest and landed back on the ground.

"Such incredible speed," he marveled.

Shendu flashed right in front of him and kicked him directly into the battle array of the Cloud Bat Legion.

"Show me your full strength, or else I could play like this for an entire day," Shendu arrogantly declared.

The next instant, Bradley rose from the ground. Shendu had not lied; his speed far outpaced his own, worthy of being called an outright suppression.

Fortunately, whether the opponent was holding back or harboring other intentions, his protective energy had not been shattered. This was the ultimate foundation of Bradley's relied-upon defense. With his protective energy unbroken, fewer than a palm's count of beings in this world could do a thing to him.

"You are indeed strong, I'll give you that." With a grave expression, once he recognized his standing, Bradley decisively chose to summon the Cloud Bat Ultra Beast.

"Ultra Beast Armor!"

Following the exact same steps, the Cloud Bat Ultra Beast hung quietly above the summoning array in the firmament. As the strongest being of the Fourth Parallel Universe, his Cloud Bat Ultra Beast was entirely distinct; aside from the wings on its back, the uniform deep purple throughout its body was also proof of its noble status.

"Now that's more like it." Shendu cracked a grin, his figure soaring sharply upward.

With a single hand, he intercepted the charging Cloud Bat Ultra Beast, forcefully beating it back.

Bradley soared straight into the sky, the Cloud Bat Ultra Beast striking a stance as a deep purple waning moon materialized behind him.

"Fading Moon Calamity!" Bradley murmured lowly.

This was his most powerful ultimate technique, forced out as early as his second offensive wave.

As Bradley's words fell, Zoran and Shendu on the opposite side frowned in unison. A trace of displeasure swept across both of their faces simultaneously.

"The form isn't bad, but what a shame about the name, far too arrogant," Shendu critiqued.

That waning moon spun, flying diagonally downward from above. Shendu let out a cold snort, extended a palm, and rawly imprisoned the waning moon within his grip, no matter how wildly it spun, unable to escape.

Closing his fist, the hetero-energy of the Fading Moon Calamity exploded within his palm without injuring him in the slightest.

Bradley landed, panting; he had already seen the reality of the situation.

Overwhelming pressure bore down upon him, and the figures of the two demons before his eyes suddenly grew hazy.

"A bit interesting," Zoran suddenly spoke up.

He felt as though he had been inexplicably referenced. Extending an off-hand toward the sky, the darkness shrouding the Fourth Parallel Universe suddenly dispersed.

A pale purple full moon abruptly climbed into the sky, casting a dreamlike, illusory glow over the entire ground.

"Concentrated Cloud Bat Formation, assemble!" With a low cry, tens of thousands of Cloud Bat soldiers flew into the sky, collectively summoning their Bat Ultra Beasts.

One after another, they flew above Bradley, densely packed and arrayed close together. In the blink of an eye, the entire Cloud Bat Legion had assembled, the hetero-energy transmitted mutually among them forming visible purple circuits.

The destination of those circuits converged upon Bradley.

Resembling an inverted pyramid, the Concentrated Cloud Bat Formation produced a formidable surge of hetero-energy from its apex commander, Bradley.

Brushing away the disheveled dust, backed by nearly ten thousand Cloud Bat soldiers providing a continuous stream of support, he restored himself to his peak state in an instant.

Even the hetero-energy around him continued to violently surge until it reached the absolute zenith he could touch: a full 5.5 black hole levels.

Separated by merely a single parallel universe, he was vastly stronger than the overlord of the previous parallel universe.

"Come! Fight me to the finish!" Bradley pointed a finger toward the two demons below him.

"You two, come at me together!" He looked down upon the cosmos with sovereign arrogance.

"Oh? You asked for this yourself." Indifferently, Zoran exchanged a glance with Shendu.

Between them, a certain determination seemed to have been forged.

Looking across the entire world, instances where the two brothers struck as one were truly a rare sight indeed.
