The eight phantom blades of dark mana spun in a humming halo behind the rabbit-woman, slicing through the humid air with deafening, piercing shrieks.
Juna did not wait for the predator to discharge the floating blades, but lunged forward across the cracked floor with explosive, predatory speed.
The curved blade of Solar Vanguard traced a dazzling crescent of divine fire through the darkness, aimed directly at the rabbit-woman's throat.
The rabbit-woman sneered with mocking amusement, tilting her torso backward with fluid flexibility to let the gleaming edge miss her chin by half an inch.
Yet Juna anticipated the evasive tilt, twisting her wrists in mid-stride to whip the weighted balance of the glaive's pommel upward into her opponent's ribs.
The solid pommel struck the rabbit-woman's left flank with a resounding, metallic crack that echoed across the western half of the arena.
