Romstad's breath was ragged, as were his hands. After having to block a barrage of attacks from Jacob, heavy beads of sweat lined his forehead.
"Let me know when you've had enough!" Jacob roared as he continued his assault.
Unlike Romstad, Jacob possessed infinite stamina. As far as the young man was concerned, he could keep this up for days, weeks even, without breaking a single sweat.
Romstad was a god. That much was true.

He had earned his place as a god through brutal training that had lasted thousands of years. He had spent his entire life refining his blade skills and picking up attributes across multiple battlefields and countless worlds.
Romstad had met people who had defeated him over the years. Defeat was not something new to him.
But unlike Jacob, nobody had ever been able to overwhelm him with his own techniques in this manner.
Romstad breathed heavily.
