It had now been exactly seven days since he came to the Tower, and the young man had advanced comfortably to the 87th floor. He still felt as though he could have done it in a shorter time if it weren't for all the stumbling blocks—and one lust-filled goddess.
He sat on the edge of his bed. The 12 hours were almost up, and soon he would be involuntarily face-to-face with the Blade God, Romstad.
The only solace that came from this was that he finally got to use his sword, Excalibur, for the first time since he came to the Tower. He also had every single skill in Romstad's arsenal copied and refined to their best possible versions.
Jacob could basically do everything the Blade God could do, but even better. Normally, this battle should have been a walkover. But Jacob was somehow still high off his pre-existing bloodlust, and as such, he had planned to make an example out of Romstad.
