Chapter 11: Bonus Chapter — Storm Blade Arashi V/S White Fang Sakumo - 1
They were crouching in a forest on the land of Fire, anticipating one of the most important fights in their life. He stood with his twin short rapiers in the front. Right behind him was Shiranai with her butcher knife; surprisingly, there was no sign of her usual battle madness in her eyes now, only a calm resolve. And the furthest back was Hikari, who looked most composed in the team, but Arashi could feel her tension; there was a small, unusual bulge on her belly, which is a tell-tale sign for any experienced Ninja.
It all started with Hikari somehow sniffing out that Konoha is planning an ambush on Rendo's Squad. He also confirmed it with his connections.
He had warned Rendo many times to be less flashy on the battlefield. An Uzumaki with red hair using shadow clones killing Konoha shinobi is very bad for their business with Uzushio village, and shadow clone was created by that damn Tobirama himself to fight against Uchiha's sharingan and now a whelp is using his own Jutsu to kill his own man. So the order came directly from the 2nd kage of Konoha to finish off this eyesore before the end of the war.
Rendo now needing rescue they decided to cut straight through the land of Fire's border and reach his battle field in the Land of Rivers. It was the shortest available path from the camp they stationed on the land in the land of rain, And with their squad's strength, Arashi believed they could breeze through any mobs they could find in the border patrol, as long as they avoided any strong holds. With Hikari as the sensor it would have been easy. But his eyes kept returning to the small bulge in her stomach . She was supposed to go back to the village with the next convoy of wounded ninjas due to pregnancy But she insisted on coming. it was the best choice he could make to maximize the chances of saving that fucking idiot. So he had to make the hard choice to bring her along.
As they were traveling through the forest of the Land of Fire, Hikari suddenly made a pause signal. She pointed at the direction they were travelling and said there were five people ahead. So they shifted their direction and continued the trip. But the team had also noticed them somehow and continually blocked their path, and they had to travel straight to cross the land of Fire into the land of Rivers.
"There may be a Hugya Jonin in their team, or they may have some special animal summons. Either way we have to fight." With Hikari's verdict the stage was set for a head on confrontation. So they decided to wait.
Arashi took out his twin rapiers and Shiranai her cleavers. Hikari also stepped back without a word. If she had to fight, it would be a truly desperate situation.

"Yes Sensei." They both replied in unison.
"Shiranai, your job is to sustain and hold back, not to end the battle. Act cautiously and take no chances.I want no funny business from you.. Understood?"
She again replied affirmatively. Which was a relief.
With that prompt meeting the planning was over.
There was no need for an ambush and there was no time to prepare any traps. So it will be a head on battle which will decide the future of his squad and himself. And he was really pissed at Konoha now for creating this stupid situation. Let them come….! Some one is going to hell today, he thought with a crooked smile.
Time passed quietly..
He could see them coming from almost half a mile away. The team situation was exactly as described by Hikari. One Sarutobi Jonin and three genin, and a young man who is leading the team. He could feel his sharpness. This is going to be tough, was his first thought while seeing that white hair. And without a word he charged forward, why waste time when they are already at war.
