Although Kalon could not clearly see the specific appearance of the goddess opposite him, he knew clearly that the goddess incarnation descended into Ekania World was none other than Kleska the Dragon Goddess of Magic, a Dragon god of intermediate divine power.
This Dragon God, known as the Light of Magic and the Bringer of Miracles, no one knew what her true Dragon form was, because her appearance was ever-changing and never fixed.
However, given her divine position in magic, this situation was not uncommon.
In Kalon's eyes, these Dragon Gods with greater divine power were even more unpredictable than Tiamat the Chromatic Dragon Goddess, because their powerful divine positions meant that their draconic nature no longer held absolute dominance.
These Dragon Gods, at certain moments, were more like gods than Dragonss.
This was much more troublesome than the conflict of faith between the Platinum Dragon God and Tiamat, at least for Kalon.
Regardless of the new generation of Dragons, almost none actively worshipped the Platinum Dragon God or Tiamat the Chromatic Dragon Goddess, because in the eyes of these new Dragonss, there were not only lessons from historical traditions.
Moreover, in the eyes of these arrogant Dragonss, Bahamut and Tiamat were merely two Dragonss who were slightly more powerful than them; they believed they had the potential to stand shoulder to shoulder with gods, and were wildly uninhibited.
Even the Blue Dragons and Green Dragons, who once regarded Tiamat as their supreme monarch, were not particularly fond of Tiamat.
In the temples within the Golden Empire, in the eyes of many Dragon Lords of the Kogmora Dragon Clan, they saw that even the sculptures of those Dragon Gods had to be placed behind the True Dragon sin the mortal realm's halls.
Between the mortal dust, it was the True Dragons home ground.
And this goddess, at this moment, descended upon Kalon's home ground, her purpose unknown.
"Kogmora…"
The Kleska the Dragon Goddess of Magic, enveloped by a huge magical halo, softly uttered this name, her tone seemingly filled with emotion, and perhaps brewing anger.
Kalon slightly lowered his wings, the burning marks on his wings fully ignited, but he maintained a calm state.
Although he was not in good condition, having exerted his full strength earlier had somewhat depleted his magic, but exerting full strength did not mean using all his methods.
"Noble lady, beautiful goddess," the Ancestral Red Dragon now demonstrated the skill he had honed in his youth, praising the goddess before him: "Your arrival is like the bright moon in the sky descending to the earth, but how can the lowly mortal realm be enough to bear your beautiful radiance?"
"What trouble, I wonder, could stir your vast light and stain your feet?"
Praise flowed from the Ancestral Red Dragon's mouth, but his dark golden pupils remained exceptionally calm, devoid of the wariness one would show a deity.
Even Camid, who was psychologically closest to the Ancestral Red Dragon, and the two female True Dragons, Klenaya and Antagena, who were physically closest to the Ancestral Red Dragon, could not discern how much the Red Dragon still held back.
Although external True Dragons and others, after collecting information and researching the Emperor of the Golden Empire, knew that this Ancestral Red Dragon, in addition to the power of his true True Dragon form, displayed various different abilities in every battle because this unique Red Dragon, more cautious than his kin, did not want others to become familiar with his abilities and thus concealed and changed them.
But perhaps only Dos knew that the Ancestral Red Dragon's habit was entirely because the Red Dragon himself was not a character who liked to rely on a single method, and it was also consistent with the general direction in which the Red Dragon led the entire Golden Empire.
The Red Dragon and his Golden Empire were constantly changing, like flowing water, inexhaustible.
"Pfft,"
The Goddess of Magic, surrounded by a magical halo, stepped forward and stopped not far from the Ancestral Red Dragon.
Her voice was ethereal and indistinct, as if coming through layers of misty veil, yet it was exceptionally clear.
"I've decided, Kalon Kogmora, if you ever get killed by someone else, I'll snatch your soul, reshape your body for you, and then keep you by my side,"
"You're not like these little ones, who just wail and bother me all day," the Kleska Dragon Goddess of Magic's body was indistinct within the halo, but the projection within the halo was still breathtakingly beautiful to a Dragons.
Kalon looked directly at Kleska's projection without concealment, admiring her beautiful body, ignoring the three small Dragons angrily chattering on the goddess's shoulders and head.
Then he said with a smile, "Thank you for your favor, but I think I prefer to remain in this mortal world."
The air seemed to turn cold in an instant; even the instantaneous shifts between extreme heat and extreme cold could not compare to the extreme and rapid changes in the goddess before him.
"Heh heh, little one, do you think I'm joking with you?"Kleska the Dragon Goddess of Magic's voice suddenly turned cold, filled with anger.
"That stinking bitch Tiamat, that lewd old hag, actually ran in front of me to mock me," Kleskavglared with her eyes, at this moment revealing her true appearance.
This Goddess of Magic was originally wearing a light robe of moon silk, woven like moonlight, so thin it was transparent, reflecting her milky white skin, no wonder she looked as if she were naked in the projection.
But her beautiful face was now cold and frosty, her large eyes subtly revealing draconic pupils, glaring at the Ancestral Red Dragon, who remained calm.
Kleska gnashed her teeth and said, "That lewd old hag actually mocked me! She arrogantly told me, 'Ah, Kleska, look, we Dragons Gods are revered and worshipped by all Dragons in the mortal realm, enshrined in sacred temples. Guess who isn't enshrined among them?'"
Kalon slightly furrowed the scales on his brow, but he did not try to guess the intention or purpose of Tiamat the Chromatic Dragon Goddess; these powerful beings could be regarded as deities, but for the most part, they should be seen as Dragonss with character flaws.
Tiamat's title as the Evil Dragons Queen came from her advocating wanton and arbitrary behavior without purpose; perhaps doing so was just this old female Dragons looking for fun, who knows.
But Kalon could not easily back down, even if he knew how to quell this Dragons God's anger.
"Even a Dragons God who receives faith cannot control the Dragonss of the mortal world, let alone you, who have not favored the Kogmora Dragon Clan; mortal affairs belong to the mortal realm, and divine affairs belong to the gods,"
Kalon said softly; he refused to take the blame. Since he was a hatchling, he was always the one to pass the buck.
Kalon's implication was for Kleska the Dragon Goddess of Magic to go back and cause trouble for Tiamat, but Kleska suddenly laughed.
"Haha, but I've been observing you for a while, and I found something different from what that old female Dragons said. You must have refused to become her divine favored, but she values you highly,"
"So I've decided to completely eliminate the possibility of you becoming that stinking bitch's divine favored, and then have you discard her idol and worship mine."
"And I will help you erase the aura Tiamat left on you; that aura is enough to make me dislike it, as if it declares her sovereignty over you,"
Kleska the Dragon Goddess of Magic said smugly, "As long as you agree to my terms, I will forgive your transgressions."
Kalon did not hesitate, shaking his head directly: "The Emperor of the Dragons Empire will not become the divine favored of any deity, nor will the Emperor's will tolerate any interference, even from a deity."
"But if you can tell me about the means Tiamat left on me, I believe there is a more beautiful possibility between us."
The Kleska Dragon Goddess of Magic's expression changed like a chameleon, instantly turning cold again, covered in frost. She stared coldly at the unmoving Ancestral Red Dragon.
She sneered, "You mortal Dragons always harbor arrogance towards gods. It seems I must teach you a lesson before you will bow your head."
"Unfortunately, your reverse scale is a rare treasure, growing with you, comparable to the residual crystals of lost civilizations, and worthy of becoming a creation in the Gods' Forge,"
"If it passes through my hands, it can forge treasures that can move mountains and overturn seas," Kleska's magical halo faded, leaving only her voice.
"But without your reverse scale, your scales will no longer be complete and cannot provide you with strong protection. Even if I cannot expend too much divine power to descend, this warrior is still enough to teach you a lesson."
"Be careful, little one, Kogmora, don't disappoint me, otherwise I don't mind taking your soul now to keep me company."
The image of Kleska the Dragon Goddess of Magic completely faded, replaced by a powerful knight whose aura was like a towering mountain, covered in frost and snow, an iceberg standing before him.
A dangerous aura spread from all around Kalon.
Detection spells and spontaneous perception had already provided approximate information about the warrior before him. Based on a comprehensive ability estimate, the knight's combat level was approximately nineteen, which, in the human measurement system, was already at the pinnacle of power below Legendary.
Most importantly, there were differences even within the same rank.
Dragonss and humans are completely different; Dragons of this level, even ordinary Legendarycones, would not want to provoke them. They were indeed formidable opponents, especially those Legendary warriors at the bottom of the pecking order.
And the knight opposite, though only three meters tall, was a Dragons, not a human.
That was the Five-Spiked Rose Knight Order, an elite organization formerly subordinate to the Dragons Goddess Tiamat's church, formed by high-ranking crusaders selected from the Serpent Guards.
These dark warriors under Tiamat originated from ancient times, once dedicated to destroying and slaughtering Bahamut's children—the Metal Dragons.
They were the bane of good-aligned Dragonss in many cosmic realms, and were also responsible for hunting down those Chromatic Dragons who had abandoned Tiamat and turned to Bahamut's embrace.
In the chaotic Dragonfall Era, the confirmed battle achievements of the Five-Spiked Rose Knight Order members included over two hundred Metal Dragons and Chromatic Dragons.
To this day, the skulls of those hunted Dragonss still hang in the Five-Spiked Rose Knight Order's fortress, displayed as trophies.
This also meant that the Five-Spiked Rose Knight Order member before him was a formidable warrior and sorcerer with extensive knowledge of fighting Dragons and various techniques for hunting Dragons, perhaps even an excellent spellcaster, a powerful priest or cleric.
And the knight before him, in addition to his own strength, possessed exceptionally fine and luxurious magical equipment.
He wore a suit of Dragons scale chainmail crafted from magical metal, and in his hand was a two-handed sword with a serrated edge. From Kalon's extensive reading, he knew this type of magical weapon.
This deadly weapon was named 'Great Serpent's Blade' by the Five-Spiked Rose Knight Order, a longsword crafted with emerald venom gems and venomous Dragons and snake scales for its hilt and blade.
When needed, it would animate in the warrior's hand into a hissing, venom-spitting Great Serpent, attacking all enemies before it.
Even Dragonss nearing immunity to toxin paralysis would be paralyzed by this potent venom; only extremely powerful Dragonss could resist it.
There was also the Great Serpent's Ring, clasped on the knight's gauntlet, which looked like a simple brass ring, resembling a snake biting its own tail, but possessed powerful effects.
Not only was it the authentication token for the powerful magical weapon, the Great Serpent's Blade, in his hand—even if an enemy seized the Great Serpent's Blade, they could not harm the wearer of the Great Serpent's Ring—it also provided the wearer with protection against toxins.
On this ring, at least one or more lesser and greater enchantments were affixed.
This made the Ancestral Red Dragon, whose innate treasure-appraisal instincts were activated, involuntarily conceive the idea of striking down the knight before him and stripping him of all his equipment.
Even in the eyes of the wealthy Dragon Emperor, this knight's full set of equipment could be described as luxurious.
A gust of wind blew, and the chilling aura made one's heart turn cold.
The knight's eyes lit up at this moment, staring at the Ancestral Red Dragon's body, and he said word by word: "Guilty Dragons, prepare to die!"
The next moment, the knight, clad in steel Dragons scale armor, strode forward, his heavy footsteps stirring up surging air currents, and swung the Great Serpent's Blade straight down.
Kalon gathered strength in his four limbs, charging head-on into the incoming blade, his right claw, leaping with flames and enveloped in psionic energy, directly gouging towards the knight's chainmail throat opening, violent and decisive.
A look of surprise appeared on the knight's face beneath his helmet; he instinctively shifted from offense to defense, blocking with his sword held horizontally.
The flaming Dragons claw directly struck the serrated blade, the serrations scratching a long trail of Spark on the Dragons claw's scales, sending sparks flying.
A surging current, like a bolt of lightning, was transmitted from the Great Serpent's Blade, directly shattering the psionic protection between the Ancestral Red Dragon's claws, before being melted by the Red Dragon's flames.
The clang of steel against steel was incessant, and the two faces continuously drew closer.
Clang, clang, clang,
The sound of steel and Dragons claw clashing stopped, and the serrated long blade at this moment transformed into a living venomous snake, opening its fangs to bite Kalon's claw back, while the knight's leg kicked out, striking towards the Ancestral Red Dragon's wing bone.
And Kalon, folding his wings, charged straight. As the two swept past each other, his thick, long Dragons tail, like a spiked chain, twisted, its straightened tip piercing through the knight's leg armor at the back of the knee.
The brief clash unleashed immense power the moment their bodies touched. The colossal force made Kalon's four claws carve deep furrows in the ground, while the knight, his leg bone pierced, stumbled forward.
Paralyzing lightning lingered on the Ancestral Red Dragon's wing bone, and paralyzing venom instantly melted the Ancestral Red Dragon's flames, while scorching heat burned in the knight's wound. Both combatants possessed terrifying elemental abilities.
But the Five-Spiked Rose Knight Order's knight was clearly more bloodthirsty than the Ancestral Red Dragon. In such a situation, he did not choose to dissipate the elemental energy Kalon left behind, but instead turned back and brought his greatsword down again.
Red Dragon are known for their ferocity and proneness to rage, but among the Chromatic Dragon, the Blue Dragon, usually stable, becomes battle-crazed when provoked.
The knight before him was a battle-hardened Blue Dragon.
The Ancestral Red Dragon bared his claws and teeth, taking a deep breath, the air rapidly swirling. He opened his mouth, and a dazzling, mighty burst of fire spewed forth, like the first roar of a volcanic eruption.
The knight roared at this moment, swinging his Great Serpent's Blade down in a vertical chop, blocking in front.
But in the face of such intense heat, he could not be sure that this would be enough to stop it.
So the advanced enchantment spell attached to the brass ring—the Great Serpent's Ring—took effect at this moment.
A second neck and a second head grew from the knight's neck. This head was identical to the original, and both heads simultaneously spewed forth violent, scalding lightning breath at this moment, meeting the Ancestral Red Dragon's unstoppable flames.
This was a spell passed down within the Five-Spiked Rose Knight Order—Tiamat's Scion.
Breath, as one of the most powerful offensive methods for Dragons, is the most direct touch of power.
The violent lightning breath and the ferocious column of fire, upon contact, instantly tore through the air, blasting a huge deep pit at the center of the fire and lightning breath.
Boom!
The full-power breaths of both sides overturned the ground, kicking up a sky full of dust.
But this time, the Blue Dragon knight did not rashly attack, because the knight could already sense that at the end of the gray mist, the Ancestral Red Dragon's aura was rising, giving the knight a strong warning.
As the smoke and dust settled, the Ancestral Red Dragon's body was revealed. The knight saw the Ancestral Red Dragon raise his head, but he was not looking at himself, but at a certain corner.
"A quarter of an hour," Kalon tilted his head slightly, his six splendid Dragons horns swaying with him. He smiled, "If he can last a quarter of an hour against me, I will agree to any of your requests. Otherwise, you only need to agree to one of mine, how about it?"
