Sean knew very well that his business was dangerous.
Extremely dangerous.
Right now, he was in his most vulnerable stage. His gold had not yet transformed into political strength, family power, or social influence. In the eyes of many people, he was simply a rich child sitting on a mountain of Galleons.
And rich children were easy to rob.
If the Ministry of Magic decided to clean him up, Sean's fortune would immediately become a feast for Fudge's greedy underlings. Those people would tear into it until their mouths were dripping with oil.
That was why Sean had taken the initiative to extend olive branches.
He needed wealthy and powerful families to join his business, tying them all to the same warship. The Malfoys were an old pure-blood family with money, power, and connections. Charlie's family was the same.
With Lucius Malfoy and the Charlie family standing behind his products, the Ministry had not yet dared to interfere openly.
But Sean would bet anything that Fudge's people were already moving in the shadows.
And modifying cars had already stepped directly into the Ministry's red zone.
The Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office existed precisely to deal with things like this. Without Arthur Weasley's protection and convenient position, Sean would be taking a huge risk.
Otherwise, he could modify the cars himself.
It would only take time.
Some money simply couldn't be saved.
Sure enough, after Arthur climbed back to his feet, his expression became grave.
"With all due respect, Mr. Sebastian, you shouldn't enter this business."
Arthur's voice was very serious.
"It's dangerous for you. Fudge's people have already been watching you. That's practically public knowledge in the wizarding world now."
Sean listened quietly.
"If the Charlie family and the Malfoy family weren't supporting you, I'm afraid you would've already been investigated under accusations of endangering wizarding secrecy."
Arthur sighed.
"But believe me, Fudge's minions are looking into your background."
He looked directly at Sean.
"Your wealth is growing too quickly."
Sean nodded calmly.
"That's exactly why I came to you, Mr. Weasley."
Arthur fell silent for a long time.
Finally, he nodded helplessly.
"You know, I really do need the money."
Then he shook his head again.
"But one hundred Galleons is too much. I can only accept fifty."
Sean agreed immediately.
"Of course. No problem."
He smiled faintly.
"Let me see your craftsmanship."
Arthur wasted no more words.
He rolled up his sleeves and began carefully dismantling the vehicle, removing parts one by one before installing various magical components.
Sean stood aside and fell into thought.
This stage was dangerous, yes.
But soon, he would possess strength equal to his wealth.
The goblins, Malfoys, and Charlie family had already boarded his carriage. Next, he only needed to earn the goodwill of the Order of the Phoenix and the support of Sirius Black, the last member of another ancient pure-blood family.
Although only Sirius remained in the Black family, that name alone was enough to deter many parasites.
And Sean still had another force behind him.
The entire Slytherin House.
Individually, those families might not compare to the Malfoys. But once gathered together, they formed a power no one could ignore.
As for the other pure-blood families, most of them had nearly destroyed themselves through inbreeding and arrogance.
Some, like the Gaunts, had been notorious lunatics. Sean couldn't control families like that, and naturally, he would never let them join his business.
When Sean looked back, Arthur had already removed most of the car's outer shell.
It was obvious Arthur didn't fully understand how to disassemble a modern car, so every movement was extremely careful.
Malfoy stood nearby, still unable to control his poisonous mouth.
"Careful, Weasley. That car is worth eleven hundred Galleons."
Arthur's hand visibly trembled.
"Shut up, Malfoy."
Sean finally confirmed that Draco's mouth was truly impossible to manage.
He raised his wand directly.
"Silencio."
Malfoy's mouth vanished instantly.
The boy covered his face in horror, eyes wide with panic.
Sean turned back toward Arthur calmly.
"You can work freely, Mr. Weasley. If anything breaks, I'll take responsibility."
The moment Sean finished speaking, he suddenly felt someone watching him.
When he turned his head, he saw a ten-year-old Ginny Weasley hiding around the corner, staring at him quietly.
Sean didn't particularly like this girl.
But right now, the little thing still looked rather cute—fair-skinned, round-faced, and soft enough to make adults feel protective.
Sean simply smiled at her and looked away.
Arthur soon began installing various materials into the car.
As time passed, Malfoy also started watching Arthur's work intently.
Sean would bet that Draco was absolutely guarding against Arthur doing something to the car. In Draco's imagination, Arthur was probably removing the brakes or planting some sort of Weasley trap while no one looked.
There was always a bit of "someone is trying to harm me" in Malfoy's thinking.
The sky gradually darkened.
At last, Arthur climbed out from beneath the car and clapped his hands together.
"I think it's done, Mr. Sebastian. You can try it now."
Sean removed Malfoy's spell.
Before Draco could even complain, he immediately climbed into the car.
Arthur ignored the previous insults and stepped forward patiently, explaining how to activate the flying function.
Under Draco's careful control, the vehicle released a low beast-like roar.
Then it slowly lifted off the ground in front of Sean.
After circling through the air once, the emerald-green sports car descended smoothly again.
"Beautiful, Malfoy."
Sean gave him a thumbs-up, eyes full of laughter.
Malfoy carefully stored the car back into the small box.
Arthur reminded him seriously, "Whenever you fly, you must turn on the invisibility function first. Unless you want to end up in Azkaban."
This time, Malfoy surprisingly didn't say anything insulting.
He simply nodded obediently.
"Alright, Malfoy. You should go home now."
Sean snapped his fingers again.
In less than three seconds, the Knight Bus appeared in front of the Burrow.
Draco looked at Sean and said sincerely, "Boss, I really like this gift. I'll go back first. If you have time during Christmas, you must visit my house."
After saying that, Draco turned to leave.
But Sean grabbed him by the collar and pulled him back.
There was still a smile on Sean's face, but his voice carried frost.
"Malfoy, did you forget something?"
Draco swallowed hard.
Then he walked stiffly toward Arthur and bowed.
"Thank you, Mr. Weasley. And I apologise for being rude earlier."
Arthur lowered his head for a moment, as though thinking about something.
After a while, he finally looked up and smiled.
"Of course, lad. Go home."
"Are you getting on or not?" Stan shouted impatiently from the distance.
Only then did Draco hurry onto the Knight Bus.
A moment later, the bus vanished from Sean's sight.
"Alright, Mr. Weasley," Sean said, turning back. "There are two more cars."
He took out two more small boxes.
Inside them were three top-tier luxury vehicles—one silver, one black, and one gold.
At a glance, anyone could tell they were built for powerful people.
Sean had modelled them after Rolls-Royces from his previous life.
These were specially modified versions as well. Even the interior leather was made from magical creature hide.
Arthur, sharp-eyed as ever, instantly noticed the difference between the cars.
"Looks like Christmas presents."
He smiled helplessly.
"I'd better hurry."
With that, Arthur threw himself back into work.
At this moment, he could only be described as both suffering and happy.
"Alright, gentlemen. Whatever you're doing, come and eat first!"
Molly Weasley poked her head out of the window and shouted.
Arthur crawled out from beside the car covered in oil, black smudges making him look ridiculous.
Sean could only watch.
After all, he was still a twelve-year-old wizard.
More importantly, he was a young wizard already being watched by the Ministry. If he used magic outside school and something went wrong, he might be taken away immediately.
Molly reluctantly took out her wand and cleaned Arthur before allowing him inside.
Arthur, Molly, Ginny, and Sean sat around the table together. Looking at the dishes spread across it, Sean couldn't help feeling that Arthur was actually a very lucky man.
He had married a truly good woman like Molly.
Sean ate a little more than usual during the meal, until he could only clutch his stomach and slump against the table.
Molly had also learned why Sean had come, and her eyes were filled with gratitude whenever she looked at him.
No one liked being poor.
The Weasleys didn't either.
The business Sean brought would allow Arthur to earn a large number of Galleons in his spare time and improve the family's life.
At the very least, the Weasley children would no longer be so poor that they couldn't even afford proper wands.
After working until late at night, Sean declined Molly's repeated invitations to stay and decided to return home.
"Then I'll take you back, lad. You can't use magic outside school yet."
Arthur extended his hand toward Sean.
The moment Sean grabbed Arthur's arm, the world spun violently.
His entire body felt as though it had been kneaded into strange shapes.
When Sean finally reacted, he was already standing at the door of his house.
At the entrance, the Black butler, Seth, was waiting quietly for him.
"Oh no," Arthur muttered. "A Muggle saw us."
He scratched his head helplessly and reached for his wand.
Sean quickly stopped him.
"Mr. Weasley, this is my home. You can go back."
Arthur suddenly understood.
After saying goodbye, he vanished from Sean's sight.
"Welcome back, Master Sean."
Seth stepped forward with a smile.
"Long time no see, Seth."
Sean looked at the dark house in confusion.
"Why is it so dark? Isn't my mother here?"
Seth chuckled softly.
"We have moved, Young Master. After receiving the title, the family was also granted land and a manor. I came here specifically to pick you up."
Sean froze.
"Good grief. They secretly moved while I was at school. If I came back later, I wouldn't even be able to find my own home."
"Seth would wait here until you returned," Seth said seriously.
Sean sighed helplessly.
Seth was good in every way.
He was just too rigid to understand jokes.
Sean had picked Seth up from Africa while travelling years ago.
When Sean first saw him, Seth was almost starving to death while still wearing the uniform of a local soldier.
Later, Sean learned that Seth had once been a special forces captain. After being abandoned by his country, he had believed he was going to die.
But then he met Sean.
Back then, Sean had only been two years old.
Now Seth had already served the Sebastian family for ten years.
In Sean's eyes, Seth was family too.
Soon, Seth drove Sean to an enormous manor.
The iron gate at the entrance was engraved with the Sebastian family crest.
After passing through the gate, the car continued driving for nearly ten minutes before reaching the villa.
Alice and Raymond were waiting outside the door.
Their faces had turned pale from the cold.
The moment they saw Sean, both rushed forward almost instantly and pulled him tightly into their arms.
"Alright, Alice," Raymond said helplessly. "Don't cry. It's cold outside. Let's go in first."
Alice wiped her tears and held Sean's hand.
"I made a lot of your favourite food. You must eat more tonight."
Sean glanced down at his round stomach and immediately felt helpless.
But he didn't dare refuse Alice's kindness.
In the dining room, Sean ate while telling them about everything he had seen and heard in the wizarding world.
When he mentioned the Weasleys, Alice firmly declared that she had to visit them someday.
Even though Alice and Raymond weren't part of the magical world, they had still felt its contempt toward Muggles through the Daily Prophet over the past six months.
So Alice was genuinely happy to know there was a pure-blood family that didn't look down on Muggles.
Alice didn't let Sean go to bed until very late.
Early the next morning, Christmas arrived.
When Sean woke up, he found snow falling outside.
Snow was common in England, but the flakes here were truly enormous.
Only now did Sean realise that "goose-feather snow" wasn't just an exaggeration.
Downstairs, Raymond had already decorated the Christmas tree.
Several small gift boxes sat underneath it.
"Sean, come look at your present!"
Alice pointed excitedly toward the gifts beneath the tree.
Sean walked over quickly, took out two boxes, and handed them to Alice and Raymond.
"Merry Christmas, Mum. Merry Christmas, Raymond."
The two of them looked pleasantly surprised and immediately opened the boxes.
Inside was an exquisite pair of rings.
"Oh, Sean. I love this gift!"
Alice's eyes shone as she held the ring carefully.
Sean smiled.
"These rings can protect you from magical attacks. You already know about the defensive cloaks. These are an upgraded version."
Raymond suppressed a laugh.
"Have you used your usual tricks in the magical world again?"
He knew Sean's business methods far too well.
Consumers would love him, hate him, and still be unable to stop paying.
Seth stood quietly to the side, watching the family with a gentle smile.
His eyes were full of envy.
Sean took out another present and handed it to him.
"Merry Christmas, Seth."
Seth froze.
His eyes visibly reddened.
"I… I have one too?"
"Of course, Seth," Raymond said gently, patting him on the shoulder. "You're family. We prepared a gift for you too, so please accept it."
Seth's body trembled slightly.
He stretched out his hand and accepted Sean's gift, then abruptly turned away.
His voice was choked.
"Thank you… thank you… thank you…"
Sean couldn't wait any longer and opened his own gift box.
Inside was a knitted jumper.
On the front was an embroidered image of Alice and Raymond holding Sean in their arms.
The moment Sean saw it, he felt something was wrong.
Sure enough, Alice hugged him immediately and kissed his cheek.
"Hurry and try it on."
Sean forced a smile that looked uglier than crying.
"There's no need, Mum. I really like it."
A sly glint flashed through Alice's eyes.
"Then put it on quickly. Your father and I knitted it together."
Sean looked helpless.
In the end, he could only pull the jumper covered in childish embroidery over himself.
"Coo, coo."
Suddenly, the cry of Sean's owl came from outside the window.
Sean picked up a piece of meat and tossed it toward the owl.
"Thanks for the hard work. I'll have to trouble you with the Malfoy family's gift too."
The owl grabbed the parcel and flew toward the horizon again.
Raymond leaned closer with a teasing smile.
"Sean, did you prepare a gift for the girl you like?"
Sean shook his head seriously.
