"I really can't be blamed for this. If I had known, I definitely would have stayed out longer before coming back," Catherine explained aggrievedly.
Although Andrew and Scarlett hadn't said anything, she knew why this young couple was so resentful toward her.
Andrew was genuinely annoyed, but he couldn't rightly take it out on Catherine, as she was also unaware.
"Alright! You figure out what you want for dinner, buy the ingredients from the supermarket, and I'll cook. We'll be heading back to Blackthorn in two days."
