However, this time Lily decided to change the way she interacted with players.
Her previous actions helped her attract a lot of player attention, but attention was just attention; it was far from being converted into actual combat power. As players explored the game more deeply and saw more, this attention would gradually shift elsewhere.
The colorful world is dazzling.
Lily was also a gamer and knew very well that most players were fickle.
One second, players might see her as a sweetie, and the next second, they might call her Mrs. Niu.
Who made it so that there were quite a few NPCs in this game who looked better than her, were stronger than her, and had more mysterious identities than her?
To ensure that players who liked her now would continue to follow her steadfastly in the future, in addition to continuously improving her strength and adding various settings to herself, she also had to bind players to her war chariot in a more intimate way.
Once players and she became a community of interests, they would not easily run off to other places, as players had already invested enough sunk costs, and abandoning her would incur many losses.
That's right, Lily's plan was to recruit players into the Silent Garden faction she established.
You're right, the Silent Garden is indeed an empty shell now, but precisely because it's an empty shell, you'll be valued when you join the Silent Garden, instead of being treated like a workhorse and ordered around like in other factions!
Do you want to experience the pain of being a workhorse in other factions, or do you want to experience the joy of being employee number 001 and growing with the faction established by your beloved Lily in the Silent Garden faction?
It's better to act than to just think. Add the Silent Garden to your shopping...Pooh, wrong line, it should be, come and join the Silent Garden now.
Lily's main focus was to provide players with the sense of accomplishment and immersion of developing a small village into a super empire in an MMORPG.
Some players don't like farming and only like to reward themselves, and she also provided corresponding expectations.
She had made up many stories in front of the Excavation Princess before, and now it was time for those stories to work.
"Hello everyone, I'm Lily. I met some very bad, bad people, some gangsters. Under their persecution, I ended up on Origin Star. I urgently need your help now. Those who sponsor me will be heavily rewarded when I return to the Silent Garden!"
This move, she believed, would attract a large number of players.
No, how can it be called a trap?
One day, when players and she together build the Silent Garden into a super force that spans the universe, when players and she look back at the path they walked together, all of this will become an indelible memory for a generation of gamers!
Lily called it "Those Years, The Games We Played Together" or "To Our Youth That Will Eventually Pass Away."
From the very beginning, her goal was to become a nostalgic figure for a generation of players, like 'Zhao Ling'er', thereby indirectly achieving her goal of immortality.
...
After resting for a night, the next day, at the road entrance leading deep into the Goli Desert, Lily turned to look at the Excavation Princess standing beside her.
"There are some things I must make clear to you now."
Huh?
The Excavation Princess looked left and right, finally confirming that Lily was talking to her. She immediately became excited; usually, when an NPC said something like this, it meant that the following words were very important.
Lily's eyes showed seriousness: "From here on, the road ahead will be very dangerous. If you still want to come with me, you must be mentally prepared."
Dangerous?
I am danger itself!
The Excavation Princess was fearless: "I'm not afraid. I've been mentally prepared for a long time."
Lily shook her head: "The danger I'm talking about isn't just the many threats we'll encounter along the way, nor is it about us possibly being ambushed at the 11th Shelter. These dangers are nothing."
The Excavation Princess asked confusedly: "Then what are you talking about, Lily?"
"Didn't Anya tell you before that I came from the Silent Garden?"
"Mhm, mhm." The Excavation Princess nodded quickly.
Lily said: "What I'm going to do next is find the way back there. This road is very dangerous and very long, so long that you might not see the end of it for a long time, and you might not even know where you're going. I hope you can think it through before giving me an answer, don't let yourself regret it. I'm not in a hurry to leave now, you have plenty of time to think."
The Excavation Princess's eyes grew brighter.
Lily was going to reveal everything to her!
If she were a player who pursued fast leveling, then she might indeed quit, because quests related to Lily would obviously be very difficult, and she might not get high rewards in a short time. But she was an UP streamer who specialized in exploring game plots, so she had no reason to refuse.
The Excavation Princess smiled, a very calm smile: "No need to think, I won't regret it. From the moment I got into your car, Lily, I had already made my decision."
She felt that she must look very cool right now.
She wondered if she could move Lily and raise her favorability even higher.
Lily's favorability with the Excavation Princess did increase, but not because she was moved.
This child is so easy to fool!
Loved it, loved it.
Lily took out a badge from her embrace.
She had secretly gone to find someone to engrave it last night. The badge had a simply drawn eye on it.
"In that case, take this."
The Excavation Princess received a game notification.
"Lily invites you to join the faction [Silent Garden]. Do you accept?"
What was there to hesitate about?
Accept.
Next, she received a professional knowledge book handed to her by Lily, which was a knowledge book for changing professions to a Spiritual Energy Prayer Master.
"It's up to you whether you want to become a Spiritual Energy Prayer Master."
The Excavation Princess held the book in one hand and the badge in the other. She first took a few photos of her smiling face, then snapped a flurry of photos of the knowledge book and the badge.
After taking the photos, she naturally opened the community, edited a post, and published it.
"Extra! Extra! I, the Excavation Princess, have successfully joined Lily's faction, the Silent Garden!"
In the past few days, players had been constantly discussing Lily, who had simultaneously provoked the Truth Society and the Gene Primordial. As soon as the Excavation Princess's post was published, it immediately ignited the forum, pushing Lily's discussion popularity to a new peak.
