I glance sideways at Dad before answering. He is hoping I would be on his side and agree with him that the idea of a salon visit and getting an extension is crazy like I had backed up mom when she said to keep the money.
But no. I want a salon visit. Even if it's only to see what it looks like. I have almost forgotten.
"I would love to. That would be great." Dad stares at both of us incredulously.
"Exactly! We'll get that rolling later.
I'm finally getting an extension. Somebody pop the champagne. Whoo!!" Mom grins enthusiastically. I can feel the vibes rolling of her in huge waves.
"Wait, you two can't be serious right now. This is too much!" Dad says assertively. "If too much change happen all at once people are going to get suspicious!"
