Her eyes widened and she let out a choked gasp, attempting to back away at once but I had her pinned in place.

"I heard you two are now close. Why is that?"
I was suddenly feeling irritated all over again. It definitely shouldn't bother me at all that they're close, but deep down, I know it was, and I hated it.
"W- we aren't close!" She finally cried out, her cheeks rosy and delicate looking, her utterly ridiculously pretty face staring up at me and making me remember last night, the way she moved atop me.
Had she gotten close like that to Ezra while I was away? What exactly is their relationship??
I suddenly want to know, a deep annoyed feeling lodged in my chest. It made no sense for me to be bothered by that, especially since I don't care about her.
