Jacob couldn't begin to fathom the size of the dead body lying in front of him. His brain hurt simply trying to imagine it alive and moving around the land.
"This whole time we've been walking towards a corpse?!"
Slimo crossed his arms and tried to stare at the highest point he could find.
"Seems like it. It looks like its head was propped up on something when it died. The highest point will most likely be up there."
"I don't think this is a good idea guys."
Everyone turned around and stared at Maria.
"Why?"
"It's just a little odd to me that there can be something this massive just lying around without any creatures nearby."
Maria brought up an excellent point. Giant corpses for monsters meant giant feasts. If that was the case, where were all the creatures? Slimo took a moment to respond.
"We'll risk it. Everyone, stay close to each other."
"Is seeing the landscape really that important?!"
Slimo nodded his head.
