Agung hovered his hand over the glowing 3D blueprint, the holographic water park shimmering above the kitchen island like a liquid jewel. He traced the lines of the "Kids' Zone," his mind already calculating the flow rates and safety margins.
"I'm looking at the layout for the junior section," Agung said, his tone shifting from 'harried dad' to 'focused engineer.' He looked over his shoulder at the group of mothers, who were currently occupied with various stages of child management. "Mari's father's designs are solid, but they're a bit... traditional. I was thinking of adding some 'dynamic' elements."
He tapped a specific section of the map, causing a miniature fountain to sprout in the hologram.
"If I weave a small amount of creation magic into the infrastructure, I can make the water react to the kids," he explained. "Think of it as a 'sentient splash pad.' Sudden spurts of water that 'trap' them in a ring of mist, or slides that change speed based on how much they're laughing. It's harmless, but it'll keep them occupied for hours."
The room went momentarily quiet as the mothers processed the idea of "magical" playground equipment.
Dia was the first to step forward, her eyes scanning the blueprint with the intensity of a safety inspector. "A 'trap,' Agung? You want to use magic to physically contain our children in water rings? I can already see the liability forms and the potential for a localized flood."
Mari, however, leaned in with a spark of excitement. "Oh! Like a living maze? Darling, that's brilliant! It's like the garden I wanted, but with more splashing and less topiary."
Maki sighed, leaning against the fridge. "As long as the 'magic' doesn't involve them getting stuck or soaked right before we have to go out. I'm the one who has to dry their hair, remember."
Agung raised his hands in a defensive gesture. "It's completely safe! I'm calibrating the pressure to be no more than a gentle spray. It's more about the surprise factor."
He looked at Umi and Eli, seeking the final seal of approval for the "magic-assisted" parenting.
"Look, I have sixteen heirs to keep entertained," Agung argued, a hint of a grin appearing. "If I can use a bit of magic to turn a regular afternoon at the park into a literal wonderland, isn't that better than them running circles around the living room? Think of it as 'automated childcare' through hydro-engineering."
Eli crossed her arms, looking from the shimmering map to the kids currently crawling over the furniture. "If it wears them out enough that they actually sleep through the night... you have my blessing. But if Aoi or Natsu ends up floating away because you 'miscalculated' the buoyancy, you're the one going in after them."
"Deal," Agung said, his fingers flying across the holographic interface as he began to "program" the water. "Kasumi, come here. You're my height-test subject. How high do you think the 'water cage' should be for someone your size?"
Kasumi, still recovering from her earlier blush, squeaked and hid behind a chair, while the rest of the room erupted into the usual, high-energy debate over park amenities. The "Overworld" might be gone, but Agung's version of a "normal" family life was shaping up to be anything but ordinary.
