Ed picked up a pen and began writing a letter on the Cement table. This was now his workplace, and he couldn't stand the stuffy place in Castle Hall anymore now that he had a better environment.
How should he write it? He doesn't know who owns the coat, or whether they know its purpose. If he seems too eager to buy it, will the other party try to raise the price?
Ed fell into deep thought. "That's it, that's how I'll write it." He began to write furiously on the paper.
Ed finished writing the letter very quickly.
"Would you two be willing to deliver this letter to Eric's house?" Ed glanced at Adelaide and Carly, who were still enjoying their Cuisine.
"No." Carly said very loudly, then exchanged a glance with Adelaide, and the two of them chuckled.
It's so comfortable here, who would want to go outside to sunbathe?
"I suddenly thought of something really delicious. Do you want to learn how to make it? But you have to…" Ed asked calmly.
"We would love to go. I admit I was a little loud just now." Carly quickly snatched the letter from in front of Ed.
So the two of them happily arrived at the main road leading to Taoyuan Village.
" Sister Adelaide, what do you think is the best thing to eat in Lord Ed?" Carly asked expectantly, hoping it would be something like cookies that she could eat anytime, anywhere.
"I don't know either, but don't worry, we'll find out once the letters are delivered, right?" Actually, Adelaide was also a little anxious, as their snacks hadn't had anything new for a long time.
"Yes, yes, let's hurry to Uncle Eric's house!"
A moment later,
"Wow! Did we come to the wrong place?" Adelaide and Carly stood at Eric's door, looking left and right suspiciously, until they saw Martha inside the house, and then they were sure they hadn't come to the wrong place.
"It's Adelaide and Miss Carly! Come in, come in." Martha saw them too and greeted them warmly, inviting them inside.
The two walked onto the very flat floor inside the room, clearly showing that Martha's house, like Fir Tree's, had been paved with Cement. The stone walls in the kitchen had been painted white with Gypsum, making the originally uneven surface smooth and beautiful.
The walls in the rest of the house are still the same as before, but as it stands now, the house is already quite nice.
" Aunt Martha, this…this…the changes are too great!" Adelaide was quite surprised. The houses in the castle were much worse than this place, and she even wanted to move here.
"Hehe, Miss Adelaide, it's all thanks to the lord and you for your care." Martha remained very modest.
"No, it's just that the master is kind." Adelaide sat at the long table, looking around the house.
" Aunt Martha, why don't you paint the wooden walls around here with Gypsum?" Adelaide thought it would look even prettier that way.
" Miss Adelaide, it's like this, Roderick said there are still some problems with painting Gypsum on the wooden walls, and he's trying to figure it out, so we can only paint the stone kitchen first."
"Oh, I hope he finishes painting soon. The house looks so much nicer after that; it must be very comfortable to live in. By the way, where's Uncle Eric?"
"Him? He just got back recently, and didn't he just host the Gomoku tournament? He doesn't have much to do right now, so he's been looking for people to play Go with. Is there something you need from him?"
Adelaide took out Ed's letter. "This was given to him by his master; he knows what to do."
"Okay, I will tell him," Martha said happily.
