Now the children were washing their hands and playing with the bubbles in the bucket. They were having a blast, but the bar of soap was in trouble.
It has become much smoother and more rounded since its initial sharp edges.
"Alright, let's start cutting the chestnuts now." If Adelaide didn't stop her, the bar of soap would be gone.
Next, everyone received a delicious chestnut. Children's happiness is simple, which is why they love following Adelaide around.
"Go play! I have some things to do. Katie, come here." After dividing the chestnuts, Adelaide let the children go play on their own.
"Oh!" The children happily left the farm, but the little girl Katie stayed behind.
"Sister Adelaide, is there something you need?"
"Do you smell your hands? Do you like this soap?" Adelaide stroked the little girl's golden hair.
Katie nodded.
"This is for you. It can be used to clean your hair and body, and it will smell as good as your hands after you use it." Adelaide wrapped up the used bar of soap and gave a new one to the little girl, Katie.
"Thank you, Sister Adelaide. I will take good care of them."
"Okay, you should go have some fun too!" Adelaide smiled.
"Miss Adelaide, the children all adore you!" Oak exclaimed, impressed by Miss Adelaide's kindness. She was incredibly caring towards everyone in the territory.
Adelaide smiled, unsure how to answer Oak, and could only pull out a bar of soap.
"Oak, take this back to Aunt Mint. It can clean clothes and the body. Let her try it and see if it works."
"Miss Adelaide, thank you so much. I will definitely tell her." Oak carefully accepted the soap Adelaide offered.
"Well, Oak, we'll be going now."
The three left the farm. Sophia wasn't interested in exploring Peach Blossom Village, even though it was beautiful now. She had more important things to do, so she went back to the castle to make saltpeter, which was her job.
Adelaide also needed to deliver some soap to the villagers, so she and Carly slowly walked back.
"Carly, I wonder if they're home?" Adelaide knew that the people in the territory were very busy right now.
"Sister Adelaide, just give it to whoever is home! It would be too much trouble for us to look for them in other parts of the territory."
Carly had already walked a long way twice, and she was quite tired.
"Aunt Martha, Aunt Martha, are you home?"
Adelaide called out twice towards Martha's house, but there was still no response.

"It's Miss Adelaide! I was wondering why I felt like someone was calling me. Is there something you need?"
"Yes, Aunt Martha, here's a bar of soap for you. It's for cleaning clothes and your body. Do you think it's any good?"
Adelaide handed Martha a bar of soap.
Martha took the soap and examined it. It was a square object wrapped in paper, and she couldn't see anything special about it. But since it was wrapped in such precious paper, it must be more precious than the paper itself!
"Miss Adelaide, thank you for your gift. But how do I use it?"
"Aunt Martha, just wipe it on your clothes or hands and then wash them."
"Okay, I understand. Come in and have a cup of tea, Miss Adelaide, it's so hot these days."
"No, Aunt Martha, I still need to go see Aunt Ellie."
Adelaide waved goodbye and left Martha's house.
