In the castle hall
"Lord Ed, this soap is quite nice. It was well-packaged before use and there were no problems carrying it. But it becomes troublesome after use; it's very inconvenient to carry. We need to make a box to store it," Carly suggested to Ed, holding up the sticky soap.
"Box?"
Ed looked up at Carly's hand and realized that he did need one, but he didn't have the right materials to make it right now.
Iron is too heavy, and wood rots too easily. The only option is to have brick kilns produce pottery, which is not easily damaged if handled carefully.
But no one can guarantee that the slippery soap won't spill out of the box. However, there aren't any better materials available, so this is the only option.
"Carly, I'll make some more soap boxes later, so don't worry. But do you have any other questions about the soap?"
"Nothing for now. We just washed our hands. We'll let you know if there are any problems later. But it's so hot now, it's really refreshing to wash our hands with cool water in the river."
Hmm, Carly's words reminded Ed of the bathhouse they were planning to build in Lower Paradise Village. He wondered how Roderick's construction was going. Should he go check on it?
Now that we have soap, we can put a few bars there so the villagers can try them out first.
As the three walked out of the castle, Ed immediately saw the windmill village in the distance, where tall water pipes had been built, and the water troughs were made of cement and bricks, unlike the water pipes that used to be made of wood and clay.

The two roads leading to the lake are also under construction, and it looks like they won't be finished in a short time.
The scorching sun beat down on the road, making the surface extremely hot. There wasn't a single tree on either side of the road, so the three of them could only walk forward under the blazing sun. There wasn't a single shady spot to hide from.
"Adelaide, do you think we should plant some trees along this road? That way we can walk in the shade and it won't be so hot."
Adelaide and Carly both nodded in agreement; in fact, they had wanted to say it for a while. Although the tree wouldn't grow very tall in a short time, something was better than nothing, wasn't it?

Chatting and looking around, the three of them soon arrived at Lower Peach Blossom Village. Ed guessed that the water channel in Windmill Village was too fast, so they had all gone to build water troughs.
Obviously, no one is building the bathhouse anymore, but the building itself has already been constructed. They are now preparing to dig pits to bury cement pipes.

From the outside, the bathhouse looked very large, with a separation between men's and women's sections in the middle. Ed's original idea was to use a waterwheel to pump water from the river for bathing, but he later decided against it, since a city wall would be built along the river later, and the waterwheel would be difficult to set up.
He is now planning to build a cement water tower next to the bathhouse, mainly for the convenience of the villagers in the summer. As for the winter? He will definitely build several large pools inside the bathhouse in the future.
We'll build another garbage incinerator here to heat water for this bathhouse. These ideas all came to Ed's mind the other day when Carly threw chestnut shells at him.

"Lord Ed, shall we go inside and take a look?" Carly asked, hiding in the shade under the eaves.
