"Wow!" Carly's mood instantly reversed. She even ignored the eye boogers Ed had told her to clean.
The object in her hand was very beautiful, shimmering silver. The handle looked solid and felt very comfortable to hold.
The mirror is round overall, with a simple back and a very clear mirror surface.
Carly held up the mirror, and her reflection was crystal clear; she loved it.
Adelaide liked it too. It was so nice. If she had had this mirror back then, she wouldn't have been running around covered in soot and grime, and it would have taken her a long time to be discovered.
"Lord Edd, this mirror is silver, isn't it?" Carly treasured it, hugging the mirror to her chest.
She was more knowledgeable; she knew that some noble ladies in her territory owned bronze mirrors. Mirrors were something only people of status could possess; ordinary people shouldn't even dream of getting one.
However, this was the first time she had ever seen a silver mirror, and she had lost count of how many black loaves of bread it could be exchanged for.
"Yes, Carly, you need to wipe it often! Otherwise it won't be able to see clearly," Ed reminded her.
Upon receiving Ed's affirmative reply, Carly felt a pang of disappointment. Was Lord Ed really going to give her something so precious?
"Lord Ed, are you really going to give this to me?" Carly's hands trembled slightly as she held the silver mirror.
"Yes, Carly, there's no doubt about it. This silver mirror belongs to you from today onwards." Ed smiled at her.

She had never seen herself so clearly before; for the first time, she had a clear understanding of her own appearance.
Looking at herself in the mirror, she was unsure whether the mirror made her look better or if she was naturally like that.
"Lord Edd, how about we call him Silver Mirror?"
"Silver Magic Mirror? Interesting." Ed looked at Carly, who was looking in the mirror, wondering why she had such a name.
"Carly, is it okay if we don't add silver?" Ed felt that adding silver was a bit strange.
"Without silver? Magic Mirror? That's fine too." Carly thought the name Magic Mirror was also good.
Upon hearing the name "Magic Mirror," Ed suddenly thought of a story suitable for children.
"Carly, I suddenly thought of an interesting story. Do you want to hear it?" Ed looked at them.
"Yes," they both answered in unison.
So Ed told the story of Snow White.
A moment later
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, am I the fairest of them all?" After hearing the story, Carly imitated the plot.
She held the mirror and looked at it curiously, wondering if her magic mirror would answer her question like in the story.
"No, Carly, you're not the most beautiful person in the world," Ed whispered, hiding behind Adelaide as he answered Carly.
Carly was taken aback; her magic mirror could talk too. So, excitedly, she asked again:
Who is that?
"It's Ed, it's Lord Ed, he's the most beautiful person in the world. You're just a little kid in front of him." Ed, still a clip, answered Carly.
"Why him? Is he a woman?"
"Hehehe!" Adelaide couldn't help but laugh. Her master was so childish.
Carly also realized what was happening amidst Adelaide's laughter.
"Lord Edd, it's you."
