"Hello, Miss Adelaide, are you here to buy something?"
"Oh, Cedar, you're here? I just came from your house. Your house has nice ground!" Adelaide teased Cedar slightly.
"No, it's all thanks to Miss Adelaide's kindness that I'm able to live in my current house." The cedar tree was still very grateful to Adelaide. They had met in the mountains before, and it was Adelaide who first offered them bread. "No," Sophia conceded.
"Sister Adelaide, we've come to ask about that beautiful thing."
Carly's timely reminder made the two temporarily stop looking at each other.
"Aunt Anne, what's that thing?" Adelaide asked the salesperson inside.
Adelaide is truly remarkable in the territory; even Ed doesn't know as many people as she does.
"Miss Adelaide, that's called a windmill. There are only six in total, and one has already been given away. The lord sent it over this morning, saying that he would give one away with every pair of children's shoes you buy."
The saleswoman named Anne patiently explained it to Adelaide.
