Hearing that sentence, Lucien could not help but cast a glance at Damian. Although Lucien was feeling somewhat frustrated, he still knew his place very well. The man standing before him was, after all, the male lead of this world, so he could not act too outrageously.
They were not truly in love either; at least in the mind of Lucien, this relationship was purely for the sake of completing a mission. Did Damian have feelings for him? He did not care much about that, as long as the task was accomplished.
