Sierra Sullivan had originally planned to wait for him to continue on his own. However, after waiting for a good while, the man remained silent, his expression growing increasingly terrified. If she didn't interrupt, he might just scare himself to death.
She still needed to know how to find Autumn Lynch, so naturally, she couldn't let the only potential witness die right here.
"Speak properly!"
Her voice was loud, and those two simple words snapped the man out of his own thoughts.
He shivered, blinking as his eyes slowly focused on her.
"I remember... that day, I was supposed to hand some documents over to Dr. Hayes. But before I even reached his office, I saw him heading out. I thought about calling out to him, but he walked faster and faster. I don't know what I was thinking at the time, but for some inexplicable reason, I followed him. If you gave me another chance, I definitely wouldn't have done it..."
Listening to him ramble on again, Sierra felt a surge of impatience.
