*Noir's POV.*
2 o'clock in the afternoon, I'm waiting in the arena of the academy. I was waiting for my match with president Geomar to begin. I wasn't nervous at all because I know that I will win. Yulia came here with me but she left earlier to find a place to watch.
"Student Noir, the match is about to start."
The male teacher said and I nodded. I followed him and was greeted by cheers from the crowd.
"Yo Noir, Are you ready?"
President Geomar asked.
"Yes."
The teacher who is also the referee looked at both of us and spoke.
"Since both of you are ready, FIGHT!!!"
*CLAP!!*
"{Wood terrain}"
*SHAKE!!*

Geomar clapped his and large wooden roots emerged from the ground that shook the entire arena. The thick root was coming at me quickly like a whip and I punched it and it was smashed like a tofu.

The entire arena was filled with surprise and confusion. The audience cannot believe that I was able to destroy the president's wood psychic powers easily.
"You are indeed strong but I'm not done yet!"

Then humanoid wooden golems are formed from the enormous roots. They ran after me and attacked me in different directions. I dodged them easily and grabbed the head of one of the golem and threw it to the other.

They crashed to each other and was destroyed. I grabbed the fist of the other one and hit its head with my elbow.

I tried my endurance and I let myself got hit by the wooden golems but their first shattered.

To be honest I could have finished it instantly but after I decided to take this as an opportunity to master my martial arts because I learned the truth from Yulia that the world is not as simple as I expected. However although the student council president is a lot stronger compared to all of the students here, He still can't be compared to me and Yulia.
I have really grown stronger. I couldn't even imagine doing something like this before but I can held my head high and be admired by people but I cannot let it fill my head and be arrogant. I'm still far from the true strength that I need to protect Yulia and help her to achieve her dreams.
I walked casually and crashed everything on my way like a bulldozer.

The wooden roots formed into a giant golem and a giant fist is falling down on me. I jumped towards to the giant fist and threw an uppercut.

The fists clashed and the Goliath shattered into pieces. I landed on the ground and president Geomar raised his hands and surrendered.
"I surrender!"

"Why?"
"Because I can't defeat you no matter what. I'm just glad that we might be able to win the championship this year because of you."
He said and sighed in relief. He came to me and shook my hands.
"Thank you for coming to this academy."

The stupid female senior student is shouting nonsense but her mouth was covered by her friends before she could finish her sentence.
A deadly chilling aura covered the entire arena and the source of it is my girlfriend who is watching above the stage. I looked at her gently with a smile and put she away her killing intent.
Of course not everyone is happy about my victory.
*Milie's POV.*
Impossible! How could my brother lose so easily? I have been watching my brother since I was a child and I've have seen his efforts and hard work to become stronger. My brother is caring and hard working person. He cares for others and work hard for the sake of everyone. All he wants is for the students of this academy to proudly say that they are from this school. He was very disappointed at himself when they lost the competition last year.
He lost just like this against the student from another country. Norn Lace defeated brother in one move. Brother blamed himself and thought that the Academy lost their former glory because of him. He worked hard without rest in school work and training yet he was still defeated easily by someone from the Gimel class.
He was just someone who was just lucky to be re-awakened and yet he dares to trample all of my brother's hard work? Is hard work really useless against stupid luck? Then what's the point of diligence?
*Yulia's POV*
As expected he won too easily. Cheers erupted from the audience and some b*tches are shouting about having a baby with my boyfriend. You already found a way to die!
Noir looked at me and smiled gently. I put away my killing intent not because I forgave those b*tches but to give Noir some face. I know that Noir wouldn't leave me because of those lowly insects.
Noir came to me and showed his golden badge that he got from president Geomar.

She looked at me and asked. Sigh! This girl is just so unlucky honestly I'm not surprised that she wanted to gave up after everything she went through last year's tournament.
"Honestly, I'm glad that both of you are here to represent our academy and our country to the tournament this year."
"Is it that serious? Also Yulia hasn't entered in the rankings yet."
"It is serious matter. It's not just about the students fighting tournament but something that will decide the future of the country. Although it might not be much for our country because of Sir Arnold but it is a big deal for other countries.
This tournament will give you a picture of the potential of the new generation of every countries. There are even some incidents of assassinations of some students with great potential. No one targeted our country because they feared the Gravity Demon Arnold Barvatos.
So Yulia, how about set a ranking match tomorrow?"

Noir and I watched as she ran away.
"Do you know why she wanted to gave up her spot on the tournament?"

We were called by Celin who's visiting her father with her mother. She probably just came from her school because she's wearing her primary school uniform. We treat her some food and drinks and talked for a while before parting ways. I came back home immediately after sending Noir home and rest.

I just shrugged my shoulder. It was actually boring but I can't say that out loud. All I can say is my boyfriend is that amazing.

"You have to promise me to always stay safe okay?"

To be honest I'm more worried about the cult the other countries sending spies or assassin's. If Uncle Davis can be called a powerhouse in this country then the other countries elites are in the same level or even weaker than him.
Uncle Arnold is just the abnormal one because he is a veteran in the labyrinth but it cannot be ruled out the possibilities that there are other people who can enter in the Dream Labyrinth from the other countries or worse there are "Players" in this world other than me.
