"Shatter this cage of heaven and earth, and go see the true Human World! A world where our Human Race fights for dominance, where even the heavens must bow..."
And then.
There was nothing more.
Great Yu was still Great Yu.
But with a new Emperor.
Cruel and tyrannical, he tormented the masses. His name was Great Yu Yue, the second Emperor, but also the last—the one who set the stage for the future.
He broke the spirit of Great Yu, snapped the backbone of the Human Race, and instilled in all future Emperors a fear of the heavens.
'The path… Is it truly at my feet?'
Yu Le was in a daze.
For hundreds, even thousands of years.
Too many heroes had charged forward, one after another, only to die on this path.
Perhaps, soon, this path would claim one more corpse: that of the Wind Snow Sword Immortal...
'Or perhaps.'
'He can actually work a miracle…'
Yu Le smiled.
Tears streamed down his cheeks.
'In that case.'
'Excellent!'
'Then let my bones be the next to pave this path.'
