The commotion in the room still hadn't stopped.
Lin Wanyu was wrapped completely around Gao Yuan. Even though he knew someone was at the door, he couldn't stop now.

After the heat of the moment, Gao Yuan glanced at the doorway again. The dark figure was gone. Light from the hallway now streamed unobstructed through the crack in the door.
This confirmed it for him—someone had just been at the door.
"Do you have a housekeeper?"
Gao Yuan couldn't help but ask as he held Lin Wanyu in his arms.
"Nope!"
"My mom doesn't like having outsiders in the house, so we don't have a housekeeper."
Hearing Lin Wanyu's words, Gao Yuan nodded thoughtfully.
The two of them cleaned themselves up and went downstairs.
The dining table was already set with food, but no one was there.
