After the last incident, Wang Lan was now keenly aware of Lin Zhengran's high status, so she put the meeting on hold.
She told the singers to wait a moment and quickly hurried over.
"President Lin, what brings you here so early? I had no idea you were coming, my apologies..."
Lin Zhengran mused, 'Wang's attitude toward me has changed so much since last time. She was always nice, but now her words are filled with respect...'
Pan Lin saw Wang Lan's fearful expression. She'd been a bit panicked herself just a moment ago. If they didn't give President Lin a proper reception, President Jiang would surely be furious—and not just a little bit.
After all, anyone who was regularly around President Jiang knew that Lin Zhengran and Jiang Jingshi had a special relationship—they weren't just friends or business partners.
President Jiang even called Lin Zhengran her fiancé on occasion. The nature of their relationship was obvious.
