The movie theater was clearly getting more crowded.
A short line had already formed. When it was Lin Zhengran and Jiang Xueli's turn, the young woman checking tickets stared blankly at the two familiar faces in front of her.
Lin Zhengran handed her the tickets.
A smile unconsciously spread across her face. "You two look a little familiar. Want to participate in our event? If you prove you're a couple by touching noses, we can give you a large bucket of popcorn."
When Jiang Xueli saw Lin Zhengran nod, she nodded eagerly as well.
"We'll do it!"
The ticket taker clapped her hands. "Then please, begin."
Jiang Xueli glanced back and noticed a lot of people behind them were staring.
Luckily, Lin Zhengran wasn't shy. When the boy is bold, it's easier for the girl to be bold, too. So, Jiang Xueli mustered her courage, placed her hands on his chest, and stood on her tiptoes.
Their faces drew close, and their noses brushed against each other.
Their eyes met in that brief instant.
