Xiao Heqing checked the time on her phone. "Oh, right, right, I have to go!" Actually, she had wanted to hold onto Lin Zhengran's arm for a bit before the other two arrived, but she didn't expect time to fly by so fast. Every time she was alone with him, time just slipped away in a flash.
Xiao Heqing looked back into the distance. "Has Jiang Xueli not arrived yet? Then I can't wait for her. I need to go catch the high-speed rail first, Wenwen. When Jiang Xueli gets here, tell her I've left."
"Mhm, don't worry, Qingqing."
Xiao Heqing bid farewell to Lin Zhengran and Han Wenwen. "Lin Zhengran, Wenwen, bye! I'm taking a cab!" She was visibly shy when she called Lin Zhengran's name. After speaking, she headed to the intersection to catch one of the taxis lined up at the school gate, waving to a certain someone one last time before getting in.
