'Damn moles!'
Xiao Jing cursed inwardly. Although he knew these people were evading taxes, he didn't plan to do anything about it just yet.
After all, he had just taken over Da Liu Town. Right now, the most important thing for him wasn't rooting out these moles, but ensuring stability. Stability trumped all else.
In fact, there were still many situations where he would need them.
"Zhou Cang, lead the troops to take over Da Liu Town's defenses. Once you have control of the town, send men to secure the warehouses!"
Coming back to his senses, Xiao Jing summoned Zhou Cang and gave him the quiet order.
Although Mayor Ma of Da Liu Town had a good attitude toward him, even handing over the official seal, Xiao Jing couldn't trust them because of it. He could only rest easy once Da Liu Town was completely under the control of his own men.
Zhou Cang's eyes sharpened. He cupped his fist in acknowledgment and then hurried off to make the arrangements.
