RAT-A-TAT-TAT-A-TAT-A-TAT...
A dense burst of gunfire erupted as a tongue of fire shot out. Like a crimson scythe, the powerful heavy machine gun bullets instantly sliced a line of Ghost Thieves clean in two at the waist as they climbed the chain!
Just moments before, the Ghost Thieves had been scrambling desperately upward, their faces contorted with greed. Now, their expressions twisted into agony. Some were shot in the head before they could even react. Others had their entrails spill from their severed torsos onto the sea's surface, yet their hands still clung reflexively to the chain as they let out bloodcurdling screams!
Worse still, some whose bodies were torn in half fell into the water but didn't die immediately. They thrashed desperately on the surface as their blood dyed the sea red, like living chunks of flesh.
The heavy machine gun, however, showed no signs of stopping. The muzzle lifted and aimed directly at a Ghost Pirate Ship.
