A muffled explosion echoed from the giant tower ahead. The tower, once smooth-surfaced, suddenly bulged near its base, forming massive, tumor-like sacs that were nauseating to behold.
The next moment, these sacs all erupted violently, spewing out waves of fire and fragments of shredded flesh!
Each bulging sac was the result of the blast wave from one or more bombs!
The giant tower's outer shell was incredibly tough, capable of withstanding even missile attacks, but it proved to be hopelessly fragile against destruction from within!
The massive, bloody maws at the top of the giant tower, which were already present, now simultaneously let out anguished wails that sounded like the howls of a wounded beast.
The three thousand-plus zombies rigged with explosives had mostly been absorbed from one side and hadn't yet been fully integrated into the tower's entire body. As a result, this one direction of the tower suffered the most severe damage.
