It was as if the very air around him had frozen. Jia San felt his body sink as his flight speed plummeted, and even the circulation of Magical Power within him grew sluggish!
"What the hell is this?!"
His face paled in horror. The power of this sudden attack far exceeded his expectations. With a furious roar, he unleashed the full force of his Middle Stage Foundation Establishment Magical Power. He summoned a heavy Turtle Scale Shield, which instantly expanded to block the space above his head. Spiritual Light flickered across the shield's surface, forming a solid barrier.
At the same time, his hands formed a seal, and a solid, ochre-colored barrier of light materialized around him—it was an Earth Defense Magic!
"Hold it!" he snarled, pinning all his hopes on his greatest strength: Defense.
BOOM—!!!
The Black Seal Platform smashed ruthlessly onto the Turtle Scale Shield, letting out a deep thud like the beating of a giant drum!
