Inside the Centaur Royal Palace, Prince Feiseli sat on the high seat with a Thunder Eagle Knight standing before him.
"Gnolls? Are you sure you saw correctly?" Prince Feiseli asked doubtfully.
The Thunder Eagle Knight nodded.
"Your Highness, it's the absolute truth. The ones guarding the human camp are indeed a group of Gnolls. There are other races, too—Kobolds..."
"Huh?"
Prince Feiseli listened in disbelief.
Once the reality of it sank in, he couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"Haha! I never would have thought! Never!"
"Those humans must truly be at the end of their rope! To think they could use that rabble to hold us back! Haha!"
Seeing Prince Feiseli laughing so heartily, the other Centaur nobles in the hall couldn't help but chuckle as well.
"Your Highness! It seems the Emperor's reinforcements have arrived..."
"Those are the elites of the Tiger Race, and the guards of Madar Mountain! The best of the best."
