Lin Yi hadn't told them anything, and they were completely in the dark.
They didn't even know Lin Yu's whereabouts...
Not long after Lin Yi left, several soldiers walked in.
"Come with us."
Lin Dazhi and Liu Hongmei exchanged a glance, though they were reluctant.
But they could only obey and follow the soldiers out.
The soldiers led them downstairs. After leaving the building, they continued toward the back.
Behind the office building were the dormitories.
One of the buildings, in particular, was heavily guarded.
The area was filled with fully armed soldiers in uniform, their weapons visible.
Their gazes were cold and devoid of any emotion.
Walking here, Lin Dazhi and Liu Hongmei had the unnerving feeling they were being led to their execution.
Fortunately, the soldiers didn't give them a hard time.
They were led all the way inside and finally into one of the dormitory buildings.
Outside a room on the second floor, the soldiers stopped.
