In the distance, a black dot slowly drifted closer. The dot, however, was heading straight for Wen Qingye. A moment later, it gradually came into focus.
"Wen Qingye!"
An old man with a full head of white hair and eyes as sharp as a hawk's appeared. When he saw Wen Qingye, a clear hint of delight flashed in his eyes.
The corner of Wen Qingye's mouth curled into a strange smile. "Lim Tian," he said slowly, "long time no see. I trust you've been well?"
This was none other than the Taiyi Pavilion Elder, Lim Tian.
Lim Tian stared at Wen Qingye, his eyes bloodshot and his voice trembling slightly. "Wen Qingye, we meet again."
Wen Qingye shook his head and chuckled. "I never thought you'd miss me this much. You must be one of the few people in the world who does."
