Yum Tianyang's brow furrowed slightly. Then, as if he'd thought of something, he smiled and said, "The Jade Maiden Sect? Are they here about the matter of the Sect Leader Candidate?"
"That's right. I suspect so," Tangg Guanzhong nodded. A sharp glint flashed in his eyes as he looked at Wen Qingye and asked, "What are your plans?"
Instantly, all eyes turned to Wen Qingye.
The Jade Maiden Sect was selecting a Sect Leader Candidate. No matter what, the Celestial Profound Sect had to get involved.
Wen Qingye smiled faintly. "I have to go this time. If I don't, and Yanm Fang gains control of the Jade Maiden Sect, they will surely lean toward the Taiyi Pavilion."
Everyone nodded. This was exactly what they were worried about.
The Taiyi Pavilion's Ling Tianyu being invited to assist was, in essence, a friendly signal sent to the Taiyi Pavilion by the Jade Maiden Sect's Elders. This was something the Celestial Profound Sect absolutely could not allow.
