Silvanus West's gaze swept over Willow West's face, taking in her panic.
"Grandfather..."
Silvanus West remained impassive. "The old mansion doesn't have a curfew. You should go out, make some friends, and get some fresh air. However, you must always remember that you are a member of the West Family. Your every word and action represents the family. You must never do anything that would bring shame to the West Family!"
Willow West nodded obediently. "Yes, Grandfather!"
She offered the information voluntarily. "It's Stella Monroe, Old Master Monroe's granddaughter. I have her to thank for her help with what happened today."
Silvanus West nodded, though he was inwardly shocked.
That old coot from the Monroe Family had always been sanctimonious.
Although they were all prominent families in Aethelgard, that old Monroe coot had always looked down on merchants like them, who reeked of money.
And now, his granddaughter was on good terms with Willow West!
