After leaving the hospital, the Bone Woman found a car wash and drove the car in to be cleaned. Meanwhile, Zhao Yuan and Yong Qin found a nearby noodle shop to grab a bite for lunch.
After finding a table and sitting down, Zhao Yuan said apologetically, "I'm really sorry. After all the hard work I put you through, all I can offer you is a bowl of noodles."
"It's no problem," Yong Qin said with a smile. "Actually, these unassuming little shops often have the best food. Besides, getting noodles is great. Sometimes we have several surgeries in a row and get so busy we have no time to eat at all. We just have to go hungry."
"Does your hospital perform a lot of surgeries?" Zhao Yuan asked curiously.
Yong Qin nodded and replied, "Even though we're just a township health center, Bahu Town has several coal mines, so we often get injured miners sent to us for surgery."
"I see," Zhao Yuan said in realization.
The noodle shop owner walked over and asked, "What can I get for you?"
