Everyone gathered in the dining room to eat dumplings. The steaming hot food made beads of sweat form on their foreheads.
"After we finish the dumplings, let's go set off some firecrackers. We've got a huge box of fireworks, too," Jasper Ashworth said after devouring one bowl of dumplings and refilling it, eating with gusto.
Anya Reginald, Cecilia Ashworth, and a few others who loved this sort of thing most immediately raised their hands in approval. "Yeah! Yeah!"
"You guys bought firecrackers and fireworks, too?" Sean Reginald paused, his spoon hovering in mid-air, as he looked up at Jasper Ashworth. "We bought some as well."
"After we finish eating, we'll go home and bring those two boxes over," Jean Reginald said.
"Mm-hm."
After finishing the dumplings, Sean Reginald and Jean Reginald ran back to the Reginald Estate to get the fireworks and firecrackers, while Seraphina Ashworth and the others all rushed out into the yard.
