"How'd it go? Is Seraphina on her way?" Sean Reginald asked, rushing over as soon as Caden Reginald hung up the phone.
Everyone in the living room turned to look at Caden Reginald in unison. All the guests had arrived; only Seraphina Ashworth was missing.
Lochlan Knight and the others had brought them here early in the morning, worried the plan might be exposed.
If Seraphina Ashworth had stepped into the living room before leaving, she would have noticed that the Ashworth Residence was unusually quiet today. Even Miss Ashworth, who was usually at home, wasn't there.
"Yes," Caden Reginald replied, clutching his phone tightly. A brilliant, dark light flashed in his ink-black eyes.
Mr. Reginald laughed heartily. "Today is a great day! Mr. Ashworth, Mr. Blaine, we'll have to share a few drinks later to celebrate properly."
"Who wants to celebrate with you? Get lost." Mr. Ashworth shot him a look and scoffed.
