Iris Dalton found a man sprawled at her door. A small pool of blood had formed on the ground beneath him. Kyle Crawford, who was just heading out to take out the trash, jumped in fright. "Miss Iris, this... this..."
He hadn't even noticed someone breaking into the villa's yard. This was a severe dereliction of duty on his part.
Iris furrowed her brows and connected to Pike. "Did you guys not notice someone coming in either?"
DING.
[YellowFish]: "Your Highness, the Pond Lord, this guy is pretty good. He used a surveillance jammer."
[Slick]: "He also disabled the villa's alarms. He's got some skills."
Iris collected herself and rolled the unconscious man over. To her surprise, the man's head was heavily wrapped, and he wore a black face mask. He looked exactly like a terrorist.
"Careful, Miss Iris." Kyle looked wary. Just as he stepped forward to stop her, Iris had already pulled off the man's black mask.
