"Grandfather, I love her." Sean Quinn's smile vanished as he repeated his declaration, his tone serious and solemn.
"That's precisely why she can't stay with you. It's a disadvantage to you and a disadvantage to the Quinn family." Master Quinn let out a heavy sigh. "And it will be even more of a disadvantage if she becomes pregnant."
His grandfather's words were so cryptic that Sean's eye twitched, but he still retorted, "And what if I refuse?"
Master Quinn fell silent for a moment. "I'm afraid there will be danger in the future. That's not something I want to see..."
"You mean the people who killed her father will come after us, don't you?"
Hearing his grandson lay it bare, Master Quinn's expression grew complicated and rigid. He was utterly shocked, his gaze turning grave. "What do you know?"
