Under Cassandra Lynch's silver-tongued slander and the various pieces of "evidence" she painstakingly arranged, the Reese siblings inevitably fell for her lies once again.
The result was predictable. The budding, unconfessed romance between them was brutally snuffed out in its cradle. Not only that, but because of Cassandra Lynch's renewed setup, the Reese Family became genuinely furious this time. They began to attack Sylvia Sloan and her family on all fronts, forcing Sylvia and her brother to drop out of school and lose their jobs. They suffered immensely. A pair of lovers who could have become a match made in heaven were thus turned into bitter enemies!
The onlookers were left speechless.
The members of the Reese family saw Arabella Donovan staring blankly into space after they finished speaking. Unsure of what she was thinking, they exchanged glances before tentatively calling out, "Miss Donovan?"
