Sunlight filtered through the vines, casting its glow on her face. She frowned slightly and opened her eyes. She was still in An Bei's cave. Even the vines he had conjured before leaving hadn't changed at all. It seemed he hadn't returned the entire night.
Ruan Fu rubbed her eyes and sat up. Looking at the bed surrounded by vines, she let out a helpless sigh. These vines were likely poisonous, making it impossible for her to get out. She could only wait for An Bei to return, but who knew when that would be?
As she thought this, her stomach suddenly rumbled with a loud GROWL. Ruan Fu patted her flat belly, her small mouth drooping in obvious displeasure.
