The Underground Cities and large bases issued a public announcement, asking all residents to rest assured. With temperatures about to rise, a great zombie migration would be initiated to ensure the safety of the residents. Certain areas had been selected to house the zombies, and a large number of superpower users and staff had already been dispatched to retrieve the residents of the small bases in the requisitioned zones.
Watching the vehicles drive out of the base, one after another, the people waited with a mixture of nervousness and hope, praying their long-lost family members would be among the survivors brought back.
They had no idea that the higher-ups had no intention of bringing anyone back. After all, the people sent out would suffer heavy casualties anyway. They could just use the excuse that they encountered a zombie tide during the rescue mission.
