Beneath the Mysterious Sea Area, after Lick snapped the totem, the statue—for some unknown reason—reacted as if the Beast God had been enraged, attempting to swallow all life in its wake.
Struck by a sudden, immense force, Liang He immediately lost consciousness. Fortunately, Leila had adamantly refused to let her give her diving equipment to an injured sailor earlier. Thanks to that, she wasn't drowning from lack of oxygen now.
"Leader Eli, are you trying to make an enemy of the Rebel Army?" Lick mouthed.
Plunged back into the dark sea, Lick relied on his custom special equipment, which barely allowed him to see a radius of about one meter around him. Upon discovering that Liang He had been knocked unconscious, he was overjoyed. He had been about to take this opportunity to carry her away from the other side when Elias, who had reverted to his human form, blocked his path.
