'Testing my Soul Talent, huh…' Lin Ming gazed at the Soul Testing Stele before him. The Soul Testing Stele was similar in shape to the Force Testing Stele, but they were different colors. The Force Testing Stele was black, while the Soul Testing Stele was a crimson red, like fresh blood.
As a disciple of the Lin Family, Lin Ming had his Soul Talent and Martial Cultivation Talent tested not long after he was born. Both were Middle Third Grade. This was considered quite a good talent. Had Lin Ming been born into the Direct Lineage, the Lin Family would have deemed him worthy of grooming. Unfortunately, Lin Ming was from a Side Branch, and this talent wasn't enough for him to be exceptionally chosen for the Direct Lineage.
For a child, Martial Cultivation Talent was more important than Soul Talent, as it determined their lifetime achievements in Martial Arts.
