After bidding Lin Wu farewell, Lin Ming returned to his residence alone. Time was growing increasingly tight. For the past several days, he had been in a constant race against the clock.
Lin Ming hadn't agreed to this duel on a whim; he had a rough plan in mind. Lin Wu had told him that even geniuses like Ling Sen, Tuo Ku, and Zhang Guanyu had been ranked outside the top 130 in their first Ten Thousand Kill Array assessment. Meanwhile, Zhang Cang was ranked 109th. The gap sounded immense, and Lin Ming wasn't arrogant enough to believe he was currently stronger than Ling Sen and the others had been when they first entered the Seven Profound Martial Mansion.
That was why he had given himself one month.
'Ling Sen, Tuo Ku, and Zhang Guanyu were ranked outside the top 130 when they first entered the Martial Mansion, but who's to say that was still true a month later!'
