Zoe Rhodes and Julian Bennett, two kindred spirits, quickly reached an agreement.
A good team needs a good commander. And without a doubt, Julian Bennett was fit for the role.
As for Zoe Rhodes, Julian Bennett considered her a simple-minded problem child whose brain hadn't fully developed. She was a bit dim, but her redeeming qualities were her obedience and initiative, which made her just barely useful.
After listening, Zoe Rhodes really wanted to point out that other than her, it didn't seem like their team had anyone else to call on.
Julian Bennett made the plan, and Zoe Rhodes immediately put it into action.
The woman dispatched to ensnare Nathan Bennett was surnamed An. Zoe called her Ms. Anya.
Ms. Anya took the call, said it was no problem, and ten minutes later, she replied with a text: [OK, meeting's set.]
Meanwhile, Julian Bennett had already contacted the media—and not just one outlet.
"He won't find out, will he?"
