Chapter 142 - Time to Bring Everyone Home

The hologram wheel spun as the Divine ticket simply shattered into blinding, golden stardust right in front of my eyes.

The wheel flashed glimpses of things I couldn't even comprehend. Items that could probably rival RNGesus's own privileges.

'Why would he even put these in the loot pool? Is he that desperate for entertainment?'

The dust reformed into a floating, glowing text box.

[Mansion of the Boundary]

|Divine Item|

A regular mansion to the user's tastes that sits in the middle of everything. Even the Outer Ones cannot breach its dimension, and as the mansion sits in the middle of everything in its own reality, you can enter the mansion through any door you touch and exit it at any door that exists in the confines of reality. Even other multiverses or gardens.

Deep within my soul, I felt a distant connection snap into place.

It was this blank space, entirely malleable to my will, sitting quietly in the void between realities.

The connection was so vivid I felt like I was on a multiversal joyride again.

It felt like a master key had just been placed directly into my brain. It was a gateway to the vast possibilities of the multiverse.

I blinked.

'Wait... ANY door?' I thought, genuinely surprised by the brokenness of the item.

I looked at Nakime.

I knew she had been quietly mourning the loss of the Infinity Castle after the Entity had whipped it to pieces from the inside out.

The castle was her unique trump card. It was her domain and without it, she probably felt like she had lost half her utility to me.

"Nakime," I whispered, squeezing her hand. "We have a new home."

I quickly shared my rewards description with her through our mental bond.

Her restored pink eyes widened in shock as she heard and understood the parameters of the Divine Item.

This wasn't an old wooden labyrinth, but a fortress that even cosmic gods and Outer Ones couldn't breach.

It connected to every single door in existence…. Nexus of Realities, if you will.

She let out a trembling breath, and a small, genuine smile finally broke across her face.

"It is perfect, Master," she whispered.

"Meruem," I called out through the link.

The Ant King materialized via a green portal just a few feet away.

His green exoskeleton was covered in dried Viltrumite blood, but he looked completely unfazed. He folded his arms, acting like a regal King despite looking like he just crawled out of a slaughterhouse.

"You called…. Master?"

I didn't have the mana to summon Shadow Levy yet, since my core was still completely recovering.

"Use your synthesis portals," I ordered Meruem. "Begin the relocation. Find the billions of humans you and Levy pushed into the random refugee dimensions and start routing them to the Mansion's doors."

At my word, Nakime materialized her Biwal and strummed it.

TWANG.

And a Tatami door materialized with a broken and glitchy castle inside, which I quickly connected to the Mansion of the Boundary.

"At once, Master," Meruem nodded.

He raised his hand and casually swiped at the air. A neon-green rift tore open in the middle of the apocalypse.

He stepped through, vanishing to go handle the logistics of eight billion people.

But relocating the humans didn't solve the immediate problem.

Earth was still actively tearing itself apart. Deep within, I could feel the core was destabilizing and hear the oceans boiling.

I needed raw power to either use some of my abilities or even start summoning temp summons.

Which I couldn't do with an empty mana pool.

I pulled out the final ticket.

My ultimate reward for becoming the undisputed peak of this universe.

'Fuck it. I'm an Omniversal Traveler now.'

I tore it.

[Infinite]

|Transcendent Trait|

You possess an infinite source of energy for every use, magical power, stamina, soul energy, whatever you need. In addition, your energy output is massively increased. Even a common rank fire ability could dwarf nuclear bombs ten times over.

The system screen vanished.

There was a split second of dead silence in the crater.

'Wait... did it glitch?'

And then my soul caught fire.

BOOM!!!

A force so absurdly powerful erupted from my core that it physically fractured the bedrock beneath my boots.

It was unlike any power-up I had felt before.

The sheer concussive pressure from the energy welling within me spiked violently outward in a physical shockwave.

Mark Grayson, a Viltrumite, was instantly blasted backward, tumbling through the dirt like a ragdoll.

Allen the Alien, with all the times he adapted, was still thrown violently into a massive Moon rock, cracking the stone on impact.

'Oh shit!' I panicked internally, frantically trying to reel the aura back in.

Pepsiman and Supermom skidded back dozens of feet. Their boots carved deep, smoking trenches into the bedrock as they tried to brace against the gale-force winds.

Even Nakime, the Demon Queen herself, let out a sharp gasp.

She was forcefully pushed away from me as she had to raise her arms and cross them over her face to shield herself from the blinding pressure.

Deep within my soul, the hollow ache of energy depletion was utterly obliterated.

A well of energy burst open.

It spewed forth an endless, churning ocean of power as if someone had just plugged my nervous system directly into a Dyson Sphere.

It was bottomless. It was limitless. It didn't drain, and it didn't tire.

'What is this? It's too good to be true,' I realized, my brain racing. 'Why can't I control it?'

It was a torrential flood of raw capability.

My feet left the ground as I floated upward.

My exhausted body instantly rejuvenated.

Every strained muscle, every failed nerve and even the dullness in my thinking snapped back to perfection.

I opened my eyes.

A terrifying purple flare erupted from my irises. The light bled raw energy into the air like twin supernovas setting the sky in violet light.

I could feel everything.

I could feel the planetary magnetic field struggling to hold on. I could feel the tectonic friction grinding miles beneath the crust. I could feel every single atom in the choking atmosphere.

It was maddening!!

I took a deep breath.

I consciously grabbed hold of the output. I pulled the infinite ocean of energy back under my skin, locking it down tight.

'Down boy, down!'

The blinding purple aura slowly retracted as the violent, swirling winds finally died down.

My boots gently touched back down onto the cracked earth.

I looked around at my friends.

Mark was picking himself out of the dirt, looking at me like I had just grown a third head.

"John..." Mark coughed, waving the dust out of his face. "What the hell was that?"

"Did you just eat another god?" Allen asked, rubbing the back of his head as he floated out of the crater.

Nakime was staring at me with a mixture of awe and unwavering devotion. She didn't even care about the small injuries on her arms that were healing.

"Sorry about that," I coughed awkwardly, rubbing the back of my neck.

I dusted off my ruined, blood-stained purple suit. "Just leveling up."

I didn't even need to think about the mana cost anymore, calculate my reserves, or worry about passing out.

I willed it.

The shadow beneath my boots rapidly expanded.

Angstrom Levy's mutated silhouette rose smoothly from the darkness. His exposed brain pulsed with an overcharged purple light.

I looked at the falling meteors, then at the burning horizon.

A grim expression still spread across my face.

"Levy," I ordered, as I charged him with so much energy that I feared he would blow up.

The infinite energy hummed perfectly in my veins. It was begging to be used.

"Go help Meruem. It's time to bring everyone home."

Levy bowed his massive head and vanished into a portal to join the evacuation effort.

I cracked my knuckles. The sound echoed like a gunshot over the rumbling earthquakes.

"Alright," I said, looking up at the remaining tickets. "Praise be to RNGesus. Please give us something good."
